Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OurSongSet at oursongset.com. By creating an account you agree to them. OurSongSet is currently in early access — features may change and occasional bugs are expected.

What OurSongSet is

OurSongSet is a tool for musicians and performing groups to manage chord charts, setlists, and run sheets. It is provided as-is during early access, free of charge.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use OurSongSet.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Don't share accounts.
• You are responsible for content you upload and actions taken from your account.

Groups and content

• Group admins are responsible for who they invite and what content their group uploads.
• Content uploaded to a group belongs to that group. Leaving a group does not remove content you contributed.
• Group admins can remove members and content at their discretion.

Copyright and licensing

Many songs and chord charts are protected by copyright. You are responsible for ensuring your group holds any necessary licences — for example a CCLI Copyright Licence for churches — before using copyrighted material. OurSongSet does not grant you any rights to copyrighted content.

If you believe content on OurSongSet infringes your copyright, email hello@oursongset.com and we'll investigate.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Upload content you don't have the right to share
• Use the service to harass or harm others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service

Availability and data

We aim to keep OurSongSet available but make no uptime guarantees during early access. We back up data regularly, but you should keep your own copies of anything important. We are not liable for data loss.

Changes and termination

• We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes by email.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
• You may delete your account at any time by emailing us.
• If we discontinue the service we'll give at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data.

Liability

OurSongSet is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us — which during early access is zero.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
